Can you get scammed by giving someone your PayPal email

Answered By: Tyler Griffin Date: created: Jan 23 2021

Short answer, yes. Anytime you give someone your email address there is a possibility to get scammed. You should treat your email address like keys to your car. Only give them to people (websites) you trust.

Is it safe to give someone your PayPal

Answered By: Morgan Bryant Date: created: Aug 30 2021

It’s perfectly safe to give them your email address – as long as they don’t know your password – but usually what happens after that, is if it is a scammer, you start receiving fake emails trying to get you to believe money is in your account when it really was never sent at all.

Can PayPal payments be reversed

Answered By: Brandon Hall Date: created: Jul 16 2021

Payments you send can be transferred from your current PayPal balance, your bank account or a credit card. If the funds are currently unclaimed, you may reverse, or cancel, the payment at any time by accessing your PayPal account history.
