The release date for Kirby and the Forgotten Land, as well as a new trailer, have us giddy – Bestgamingpro

Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Nintendo’s lovable pink puffball’s next mainstream game, will be released on March 25.

The game’s saccharine post-apocalyptic setting, some of Kirby’s new skills, several old characters, and the game’s two-player co-op option are all seen in action in a new teaser.

The new Drill ability, which allows Kirby to sink into the earth and strike foes from below, and the Ranger ability, which allows Kirby to attack enemies from a distance, are also noteworthy. Aside from that, the film shows off the ‘Forgotten Land’ hub area and some of the minigames that will be available there, such as fishing and tending to a store.

A second person may play as Bandana Waddle Dee, a sidekick who wields a spear and receives a lot of attention in the new teaser.

There’s a Kirby for every occasion

Kirby and the Forgotten Land was slated to arrive in Spring 2022 (between March and June), although many fans were hoping for an April release date to coincide with the series’ 30th anniversary. However, a March release date is acceptable to us. After all, Kirby Star Allies was released almost four years ago, and it’s been nearly four years since the franchise’s last flagship release.

This future release should infuse new life into the character as well. Forgotten Land will not only be an open-world adventure, but it will also be the first completely 3D Kirby game. That newfound physical component should potentially give the mascot’s platforming and puzzle-solving a fresh twist.

The setting of the new game is maybe the strangest and most intriguing feature about it. There are no monsters or radioactive devastation in Kirby’s post-apocalyptic world, just overgrown retail malls and suitably charming species to inhale.
