When can you book Yosemite campsites?
Also asked, how far in advance can you book Yosemite camping?
Reservations are required all year for Yosemite Valley’s car campgrounds and summer through fall for Hodgdon Meadow, Crane Flat, Wawona, and half of Tuolumne Meadows. Campground reservations are available in blocks of one month at a time, up to five months in advance, on the 15th of each month at 7 am Pacific time.
Furthermore, how far in advance can you book on recreation gov? unless, of course, you plan to spend more than one night in that site. While individual campsites don’t technically open for reservations until six months ahead of your desired date, if you claim a site six months out, you can extend your stay for a number of days.
Herein, how do I reserve a campsite at Yosemite?
To make a reservation, visit Recreation.gov and follow the instructions below.
- Search for Yosemite National Park.
- Enter the dates you want to camp.
- Click on “filters” so you can improve search results.
- Enter “group size” and check “reservable online.”
- Select “camping” to limit your search to campground reservations.
